Cherine is passionate about supporting individuals and communities in thriving and realizing their full potential. Her life’s work is rooted in creating spaces of authenticity and belonging in service to a world that works for all of us. Cherine’s work develops her clients’ capacities to unleash creativity, negotiate difference, and bolster collaboration and efficacy in the workplace.
Drawing from more than 15 years of experience, Cherine designs and facilitates dynamic, experiential trainings and development programs that bring groups together in authentic, purposeful exchange. Having worked in the for-profit, non-profit, governmental and education sectors with clients representing a broad spectrum from manufacturing to academia, her core competencies include diversity and inclusion, experiential learning and design, leadership development, community building and team effectiveness.
Cherine received an MA at ICU in Tokyo and a BA in Cultural Studies from UNC, Chapel Hill. In 2005, she was awarded the Rotary World Peace Fellowship which supported her graduate work in Peace and Conflict Studies, in which she researched the role of experiential diversity training and storytelling on empathy.
