Standing Up for Diversity

We at Enact have been deeply saddened and outraged by the growing climate of hate, intolerance and violence in our country. Our hearts ache for the growing list of victims targeted by extremists who are actively supported by the policies of this administration. But the extreme events in Charlottesville are just the latest signal that the leader of our country is using his position and power to sanction violence against those perceived as threats to white supremacy, and to turn back progress towards a just and equitable society.

Enact has always worked to further equity by equipping leaders to create cultures of inclusion and generate positive social change. We must all be leaders now to stand up for love and progress…individual lives and the fate of our country are literally at stake. Here is a great resource for action from Southern Poverty Law Center

In the words of Elie Wiesel, Holocaust survivor and author: “We must take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentors, not the tormented. Wherever anyone is persecuted, that place must become the center of the universe.”

Equal Employment Opportunity

Enact Leadership is fully committed to ensuring that all employees and job applications are treated fairly and with respect irrespective of their actual or assumed background including gender, sexual orientation, marital status, age, race (including color, nationality and ethnic origin), religion/belief or disability. We value differences and diversity, and our employees work together in an inclusive environment that enables us to harness the collective skills, knowledge, background and networks of a rich mix of people. Our diversity is an integral part of our strategy for driving business performance and to support the customers that we serve.
