Sitar Mody


Sitar is passionate about building human capacity and resiliency for all people, and brings a strong background in facilitation, strategy development, and diversity, equity and inclusion to her work with Enact. She draws on experience growing teams, launching programs, and developing cross-sector partnerships in the NGO, start-up and consulting sectors, and has led a series of initiatives focused on sustainability and social impact via corporate-NGO partnerships. She is focused on delivering results and offers both the systems and individual perspective in working with clients.

Sitar is pursuing a master’s degree in counseling psychology from the Wright Institute and holds a BA in Political Economy from UC Berkeley.

  1. Sitar has trekked to Gokyo Ri, which sits at 17,575 foot elevation, on par with Mount Everest Base Camp.
  2. She is a trained Indian classical dancer in the form of Bharat Natyam and a founding member of RISE, a social enterprise bridging Silicon Valley and humanitarian response.
